Metal Gives Us A Justice League Relaunch

Spinning out of the excellent event series Dark Nights: Metal, Scott Snyder will take on Justice League. Later this year, DC Comics will relaunch their flagship series to be more in line with what Metal has changed. Joining Snyder on this series will be artist Jim Cheung, whose work for Marvel has been some of the best the publisher has brought us. Snyder has proved his mettle as a Batman writer. Those talents, along with what is sure to be some fantastic art by Cheung, will surely work well now that he gets to take on the whole team. The lineup looks great as well. Joining Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman will be Flash, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, Hawkgirl, Green Lantern John Stewart and Cyborg. Leave us a comment with your thoughts.

Jessica Jones season 2 airs this Friday, and yet Netflix is already teasing their next show, season 2 of Luke Cage. It seems as though that will change for the next series, as he seems to be embracing his role in things. June 22nd can’t get here soon enough. Check out the teaser below and leave us a comment with your thoughts.

Trailer & Photo Credit: Lucasfilm

A teaser for Solo A Star Wars Story has finally arrived. The first footage looks amazing. It will be interesting to see if this teaser is indicitive of the final product or if we will see something similar to Rogue One, where certain scenes were re-worked for the final product. The fact that this film hits theaters this May might mean what we see is what we will get. Can’t wait to see what Ron Howard and Lucasfilm have in store for us later this year. This is only a teaser. Keep it tuned to Entertain the Geeky for the full trailer tomorrow.

Like Superman before him, Batman is getting a more classic look as well. Doomsday Clock #4 has revealed that the little yellow oval is back. According to Gary Frank, the artist working on doomsday clock, it’s here to stay.
