Back at the end of 2017, Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo capped off an amazing run of Batman books with the finale Dark Nights Metal. Well, here it is 2020 and they are doing it again, this time concluding a 39 issue run of Justice League as well as some ongoing Year of the Villain stories. The sequel will be Dark Nights Death Metal and looks to not only be poised to conclude Year of the Villain, but also serve as a sequel to Metal. This time around Snyder and Capullo are putting Wonder Woman front and center for this series. Perpetua, the mother of the multiverse, and the Batman who Laughs, who made his debut in Metal, will be the main villains of Death Metal. Snyder left Justice League #39 with a hell of a cliffhanger that Death Metal will be the conclusion of. Check out the cover gallery below as well as the solicitation for number one. Dark Nights Death Metal will hit comic shop shelves on May 15th.
